Blue Earth Construction has been appointed to deliver a £16 million enabling works package at Wood Farm, Bardon – supporting the next phase of a major industrial and logistics development in Leicestershire.
The project, delivered on behalf of Firethorn Developments, will provide the critical infrastructure required to prepare the site for future commercial occupation.
The scope of works includes:
- Extensive earthworks across the site
- Construction of an 18m high screening bund
- Installation of drainage and site-wide infrastructure
- Delivery of a foul pumping station
- Formation of on-plot roads and footpaths
Designed to facilitate a smooth transition into subsequent development phases, the works prioritise programme certainty, coordination, and site readiness.
Blue Earth Construction will manage the delivery of these works as a principal contractor, ensuring a safe, efficient, and integrated approach that supports the wider development programme.
